AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL CAR CLUBS IN AUSTRALIA

Dear CLUB MEMBERS,

We write to introduce our company and a contribution program to assist in the running costs of your car club. We all face increasing costs to operate and for social, not for profit associations, it is doubly so. From our past associations with Car clubs and assisting in advertising and income generation, we have evolved a program that we would like your club to consider as a means of increasing your “passive income” within the club to fund growth, reduce subscriptions, and generally help balance the budget.

As we are a small family owned company operating in a wholesale capacity, we use various methods to build our brand awareness and sales, as opposed to larger companies, with traditional marketing channels and large marketing budgets. What we are proposing is a rebate offer directly to your club, for any of our goods purchased by your members, from any of our dealers around Australia.

The basic mechanics of this program is that any club member buying any one of our products, simply faxes the invoice with our product identified on it, to our dedicated car club program fax number 03 9701 5111 confirming or nominating their particular car club. We then send a payment to the club to assist in covering running costs throughout the year.

As our products are consumable type products for the most part, this does not involve buying a product for which the “need” has to be created and these purchases will be something they will be buying, in any case. Unlike other rebate/discount programs your members don’t need to identify themselves at the time of purchase and hope they are getting the members price etc. We have tried to keep the program simple and free of onerous conditions and to generate valuable contributions, on an on-going basis, to assist with the increasing costs of running social not for profit car clubs.

The program is made known to all and is open and straight forward and is only available to those clubs that have registered. This ensures that controls are in place for the transfer of rebate dollars etc go directly to the club and not third parties etc.

To save on administration work at our end, we will forward payment electronically once your club’s balance has reached $100 each time. ($100 = 13 axle sets of brake rotors & pads!).

The level of rebates on offer are as follows:

• A Pair of RDA/EBC Standard Disc Brake Rotors or Brake Drums: $5.00
• A Pair of RDA/EBC Slotted/Grooved Disc Brake Rotors: $8.00
• A Set of RDA STANDARD disc brake pads or brake shoes: $1.00
• A Set of EBC Disc brake pads: $3.00
• A RDA-EBC Brake upgrade kit: $20.00
